I am done commenting on Cornswalled's pitiful blogs. There isn't any point anymore.

As I stated in an earlier post, it isn't as though Alexander would ever affect any real change in the world. He thinks he will, but people, I am convinced, are smarter than this backwoods idiot.

No one EVER agrees with him.

Anytime someone does, it's usually Alexander himself posting as someone else.

He misquotes everything and takes things out of context, something he accuses many others of doing themselves.

The straw that broke the camel's back are recent articles where he uses biased news outlets to support his claims. The recent post on Canadian pharmaceutical companies using aborted babies in vaccines should be an eye opener to all.

1. Abortion is legal in Canada - the sale of the remains is not
2. He quoted from www.prolife.com, an anti abortion group dubbed as "fringe" at best.
3. He has quoted from all manner of news orgs that are clearly right wing Christian - orgs that, like Alexander, have a very distorted view of reality around them.

He will believe anything so long as it fits his twisted view on how the world should be, regardless of its source.

So, rather than get angry at this insignificant weak ass sorry excuse for a human being, I have decided to end it here.

Just for the record, Alexander, you haven't silenced a critic here.

I just don't care because you really just don't matter.

I have bumped up an older post when I retired the blog a while back. Reader, if you ever have the urge to start what will essentially become a one sided argument with this weasel, I encourage you to read the post below this one before you try. I hope you will save your time and effort in trying to engage Mr. ADHD in an argument - it truly is a waste of energy.

Logic and Reason Don't Work, So The Gloves Are Off

You people have no idea how PISSED OFF I was last night after reading the latest from Alexander. If you haven't checked out the insane post from Mr. Expert, then click here.

In most of my replies to Alexander's pitiful blog posts, I have tried to be calm, reasonable and rational. It doesn't work. Nothing does. I have tried to engage Alexander into debate, but he replies sporadically and shows no interest in debating his point of view - likely because he either isn't confident in it, or he changes his mind about his point of view but won't admit it.

Alexander, I know you are reading this - you are no better than a cyber terrorist. You post inflammatory shite, then hide behind excuses that you are too busy to reply to comments made on your blog. You are a fraud. You are an uncaring son of a whore who only wishes to piss people off. You are no different than a suicide bomber. Actually, you're worse. At least the suicide bomber inflicts pain once - you incite chaos over and over again.

If you are too busy to reply to the comments on your blog, then you should disable the comments altogether, or not post anything at all, you fucking loser. And before you mutter something about my flowery speech, I should point out that calling you a son of a whore or a fucking loser is only a cruder form of your favourite term - moron. So kiss my ass.

So, this blog will take a new direction. EVERYTIME I hear BULLSHIT spouted by any religious right nutjob cocksucker like Alexander, I am going to take it out on you, Cornswalled. No more flowery speech. No more attempt at entering into debate with you. Gloves are off.

If you can spout bullshit online and call it ice cream, then I can make up anything I want about you and your ilk and call it fact.

After writing my last blog post about Alexander Conrnswalled's latest podcast, I have decided to stop writing this blog. My reasons are many, but the main one is that I am wasting my time on someone who is as insignificant as a gnat. I am sure Alexander will assume he has "won" and silenced a critic... think what you will, "Cornswalled", but that is not the case as I have outlined below.

Let's be honest - it's not as though I am blogging about Jerry Fallwell here. I am writing about the ramblings of a tired old single bugger with a fake name who obviously can't accomplish much more than pissing off kids who are listening to things they likely shouldn't. Big whoop.

If you read Alexander's blogs, there are a very VERY few people that agree with him. The occasional nut job like Robert Troop may agree, but other than that, is there anyone other than Distorted View listeners reading this guy's blog? No. Oh sure, the occasional anonymous comment might pop up on his blog that agrees with his post, but it's easy enough to do that himself and pass it off as a random poster.

Basically, I feel the only thing we're accomplishing here is giving him fuel for his fire. More fuel for his cute little campaign to accomplish... what? Censorship? A direct infringement on the 1st Amendment? If anyone really believes Alexander can get podcasts off the internet, may I direct your attention to the full blown campaign to rename the GWB Bridge? Ha ha ha.

Other reasons for ending this blog are:
He is not an honourable man.
He ignores questions.
How can I debate with someone who picks and chooses which questions to answer?
He sidesteps issues.
He makes up lies and stories to prove his point.
He lives a sheltered life in which people always believe the same things he does. He cannot imagine a world where his beliefs don't reign supreme.
His world revolves around him, his family and his immediate community. He cannot imagine life beyond that.
He is likely a repressed homosexual, though I do not have obvious proof. Usually the ones who are the most outspoken tend to be the biggest ones, am I right?
As a young boy, he was likely burned by the world and decided to shut himself up in the cocoon in which he currently lives, going online every so often to lash out at the world who rejected him.

Honestly, people - what is someone as small and insignificant as Alexander Cornswalled going to accomplish in his life? Very little. So why should we waste our time giving him attention he really doesn't deserve? It's like watching a Jerry Springer show. It's all the same, the names are a little different, but really - there's no substance to it. And there's no substance to Alexander either.

Your opinion means nothing to me, Alexander. It only means something to people when you cram your view down their throat. But really, people need to step back and look where the opinion is coming from - it comes from someone with as much integrity as a politician.

I'm not mad about you, Alexander. It's taken me awhile to come to the conclusion that when you mocked me on your blog, it was coming from someone so brainwashed as to be pitied. And I truly do pity you, "Cornswalled".

I will keep this blog up for as long as I can. If someone should happen to want comments to your blog posts, they will have this. And the first thing they will read is that you are to be taken as seriously as a boil on their bottom. Irritating, but not life threatening.

Review of "Cornswalled's" Latest Podcast

I wasted nine minutes and fourteen seconds on Mr. "Cornswalled's" latest podcast. In it, Alexander gave his opinion on 2 podcasts: Keith and the Girl and the Paper Bag Show. I've listened to KandtheG a couple of times, and actually found it quite mundane and boring. I am not familiar with the other podcast he reviewed, and frankly, I don't really care what Alexander's opinion on it is. If Alexander doesn't like it, then he'll be sure to tell you it should be removed and destroyed as soon as is convenient.

A technical note about Alexander's recent podcast; "Cornswalled", your "pot'able recohdin' devass" is a piece of crap. It sounds like you're driving through a windtunnel. I also notice you have more of a "Sothen Drawwwl" than your last podcasts. Why is that? Is your "Suthen Gentleman" personality on deck today?

Thanks for making reference to my blog, by commenting on my "research" into your name. Poorly researched? Sure it was. I even said so. But it's no more poorly researched than your blogs. At least I say I assume you have a joke name - you read misinformation and call it fact, or call someone a pedophile without proof, or call me a Liberal Christian without knowing me.

Alexander, that's pretty weak, even for you. Do you honestly expect me to believe that your "clan" are the only "Cornswalled's" around? And you all live in the same community? Cornswalled Is Not Real

I don't believe that Alexander Cornswalled is a real person. I believe he is hiding under an unfortunate pseudonym and is actually someone else.

Why do I believe this?

A few reasons.

First and foremost - I cannot believe someone as clueless, as illogical, as.... STUPID (for lack of a proper word) as Alexander would use their real name. I mean, COME ON! Posting Photoshopped pictures as vandalism? An IM chat as real when it's A JOKE?! Citing Canadian Law in an effort to have DV removed in the United States? There's more, people. Waste an hour at our good friend's blog and you'll come away with a headache from smacking your forehead in disbelief at the UTTER NONSENSE that he posts. Good God - if Alexander is truly one of Your servants on earth, and he is what we'll be stuck with when we all get to heaven, then I really need to rethink my stance on Christianity.

That was a JOKE Alexander. You're likely chuckling anyway. Anticornswalled? Get in to heaven? Aha ha ha...

Anyhow, I started to think - WHO could this jackass really be?

At first I thought he was Robert Troop. For those who have read the comments to Alexander's blogs, Robert is the old windbag who owns the printing company (VERIZON IS ONE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS! AREN'T YOU ALL IMPRESSED?) It sorta made sense - Robert and Alexander can't spell worth a damn. They call people morons and idiots and punks. And they both have the understanding of an Alzheimer's patient who has been given a thousand piece puzzle for Christmas. They each jump to conclusions faster than Rosie O"Donnell jumps on a chocolate cake. But I am not sure if they are one in the same - Robert's company donated a million dollars to a charity run by Catholics, and we all know Cornswalled believes Catholics are idol worshipping Hell bound heathens. But, I still think Alexander is a joke name. So I check a little further...

I did a little search for our good friend online and couldn't find him. Actually, I couldn't find ANYONE in the United States phone directories with a last name of Cornswalled. Out of what, 250 million people, YOU happen to be the last Cornswalled? I suppose it is possible - If I were related to you, Alexander, I would change my last name too. The only time I could find an Alexander Cornswalled was on pages YOU had made, Alexander. I did find a site created by someone who said they knew you in Valparaiso (sp?) Indianna. This individual said you'd written a rather famous (read: MORONIC!) piece on Pokemon. He said you were a lovely man (the word "lovely" dripping in sarcasm...)

I just find it odd that I can't find a Cornswalled in the US. Any Cornswalled. Why is that?

So there you have it. Not very well researched, but based on what I tried to find, Alexander Cornswalled doesn't exist. And let's be honest, if you were him, would you really want to?

UPDATE - September 17, 2007

Oh no. The little troll has a podcast now. I listened to a little but had to shut it off after awhile. I can only stand someone who sounds like a cross between Gomer Pyle and Fozzy Bear for so long. I like how he changed his website, with a subheading that reads:

Alexander Cornswalled is a Midwestern Conservative Christian, writing and podcasting about religion, morals and the fight to halt the decay of American society and civilization.

Sounds like he's been podcasting for awhile doesn't it? He started podcasting today. For a more accurate subheading, it should read:

Alexander Cornswalled is a Midwestern Conservative Christian Whack Job, writing and podcasting (as of today!) about religion (Baptist views), morals (as I see them) and the fight to halt the decay of American society and civilization (Distorted View) based on my own personal tastes. If you don't like it, I will still cram my opinion down your throat and call you a moron if you disagree. I do not believe you should live your own life. Your life belongs to me, and I will decide what you can or cannot listen to. I will also ignore all attempts at getting me to answer your questions when I know I will look more retarded than I already am. I will make up lots of excuses, like I am busy, or I have work, or church. I will still find the time to produce a podcast, write my nonsense blog and write stupid replies on Yahoo Answers that could endanger the health of teen girls who really should go to their OBGYN. I don't have any kids (actually, I am single) but I know what's right for those little harlots anyway. Even though I know Tim Henson will play clips of my poscast on his show and mock me, it will only add fuel to my war against DV, even though I asked for it. Not Living in Reality...

Today's post from Alexander has to do with what he thought was vandalism of a billboard for The Creation Museum.

Alexander had posted an image of the billboard for The Creation Museum, saying it had been vandalised.

The image is a Photoshopped picture. Anyone with a clue could have pointed that out to him. But of course, his church was up in arms, trying to decipher what it meant... blah blah blah.

Alexander then updated his blog post later in the day, to explain that the photo was actually a fake, but the museum has experienced vandalism in the past because of what it stands for.

I am not going to get into the whole evolution / creation debate. In fact, I don't really care to comment much on Alexander's post, EXCEPT to say that this is a prime example of why people (except loudmouths like "Robert Troop") will never take you seriously, Cornswalled.

You rush to conclusions, judgements, make ass-umptions, etc. without even checking to see if your "facts" are correct. Had you merely asked the curator of the museum about the authenticity of the photo BEFORE you wrote your blog, you could have instead written a piece about real vandalism at the museum. You could have written a great blog about religious tolerance; how people should have respect for the museum so it doesn't get vandalised.

Oh, wait.

It's hard to gain respect when you show very little of it yourself. I find it funny that you seemed a little outraged over vandalism and grafitti, but think nothing of publishing posts that call people pedophiles, liberal Christians, Catholics = cultists, etc.

I've said this time and again - you refuse to do any homework and fact checking before you turn your computer on. And your hypocrisy is starting to reach new heights.

Yay.

I thought I would post a few comments about Alexander's latest delusions. His comments are bolded.

Tim Henson has announced he will No Longer Run his infamous "Sextastic Tuesday" sketch.

Correct. He doesn't find the quality of the stories to be up to his standards. I must admit, they have been pretty hit or miss lately (with the exception of the Bert and Ernie one - that was excellent!) I usually skip over the stories anyway. As Tim would say, "It's too much!

Many readers will remember my onging feud with Tim Henson, the host of the Podcast "Distorted View."

Alexander, who are these other readers? With the exception of some old guy who posted a comment on your site today (Robert Troop) the only other readers are fellow DV listeners. You do realize that without them you'd only have a couple of hits daily at most.

The first episode of Distorted View I ever heard featured a graphic story about the supernatural rape of a 12 year old girl. This story was read as part of what Henson described as the "Sextastic Tuesday" sketch, where he would read admittedly disgusting and disturbing pornographic stories every Tuesday.

Yes - your good friend gave you a copy of the show. This brings me to one of the six questions I have been waiting for you to answer: How does your friend feel about this? You know, the one you remain friends with despite the fact that he brought DV to your attention? Isn't he a Christian? If not, I would find it hard to believe someone as pristine and holier than thou would associate with the common proles. Answer this directly, Alexander: How do you reconcile having a pervert for a good friend? Do you call him a "moron" or an "idiot" or a "pervert" to his face to get him onto your side?

I've been through several rounds of conflict with the program and it's fans, and in the end have learned that despite the frequent appearance of underage characters in these stories they appeared to be considered legal by State and Federal Authorities.

Right. It's legal. DEAL WITH IT.

While the grassroots movement to ban such filth is still getting started in Indiana, I learned that Henson had begun editing the stories so that all participants were 18 or older. While this further protected him legally, it did not address the fundamentally disgusting nature of the content he made freely available online without so much as a login to verify a listener's age.

Well! Another opportunity to answer another question. Why aren't you railing against PARENTS - the ones who should be monitoring what their kids are doing online? It's the same thing as smoking, drinking and drugs - where are the parents in all of this? And again - I would thank you by keeping your nose out of something I choose to do legally by listening to the show.

I was recently sent a sound clip of Tim Henson announcing the end of the "Sextastic Tuesday" sketch, and while he blamed the end of the "bit" on a "Lack of quality stories" it was a thin and laughable rationale. Having heard a number of episodes of "Distorted View" I can attest that there was never a question of story quality. The only way Henson could have run out of content he deemed appropriate for the segment would be if he;d read all of the disgusting, disturbing and vile sexual fantasies that have been posted to the Internet. Since I doubt he could have narrated ALL the vile material online, I can only conclude that he had other reasons for discontinuing the "bit."

Right - there's a lot of crap online - your little grassroots movement is going to eradicate it all? Chum, your delusions of grandeur are only overshadowed by your lack of understanding concepts (and your own laws) Tim is well within his rights under your first amendment to talk about whatever he wants. DEAL WITH IT.

The pressure is working. The efforts of Christians to get Obscene content off the Internet is making progress. There IS hope, and there IS a way to win this battle.

I am glad you have hope - I do too. But you again are deluded in thinking Tim Henson lives his life and conducts his entreprise based on anything you have written about. This statement also shows you to be a typical American - the world revolves around you and your values, doesn't it? Tell me, Alexander - how will your Christian groups get content produced in the UK off the net? Or Canada? Or Japan? What makes you think anything you can do will stop anything that's global? Oh, I know - you're a loud mouthed conservative American Christian, by God, and you'll get your way, won't you? Ha. Your delusions of grandeur continue to entertain us all. Your country has what, 250 million people? And there are over 6 BILLION people globally? Surely even you can do the math, Alexander.

Keep the Faith, and remember that this world does NOT have to slide into decay and depravity. We can turn back the tide and beat back the demonic influences that are trying to corrupt our youth.

You're right. It doesn't need to slide into decay and deparvity. Why not attack the things that are physical then? Too big of a challenge I suppose; you'd rather pick on a guy who produces satire and comedy than someone who actually produces a podcast glorifying true pedophilia.

Update

On the 8-30-20-07 episode of Distorted view, twenty minutes and 20 seconds into the episode Tim Henson admitted that the quality of the stories is NOT the reason he's discontinued the "Sextastic Tuesday" segment. He continued to claim that pressure from Christian Conservatives was NOT the cause of his pulling the bit, but failed to offer an alternative reason.

Your ignorance on DV is showing again, Alexander. Tim has "cancelled" Sextastic Tuesday more times than you change your underwear. And you obviously change yours a lot because you soil yourself every time there's a glimmer of DV going away. But that's besides the point.

His "cancelling" of the "bit" happens once every few months, but he always goes back to it.

Seriously, it was nice the last two weeks you weren't around. At least you couldn't become more of a fool than you have presented yourself to be today. Maybe next time you should fight the urge to hit the power button on your computer if this is the kind of garbage you're going to write.

Mr. Cornswalled must be up to his ears in church and work to even update his own blog! Ah well, no matter. I will wait patiently for Mr. High and Mighty to get his work and church responsibilities together. I can see how he's busy at this time of the year - he's likely getting his protest groups together as Hallowe'en is just around the corner. Between Hallowe'en and Harry Potter, it's a wonder the Church of Satan hasn't had to rent stadiums to accomodate the MILLIONS of children being led astray. Oh that's right - they meet in the woods in the dead of night to sacrifice goats and sheep to their infernal goddess, JK Rowling.

In the meantime, I found some of Alexander's Pearls of Wisdom on a few other websites. I saved a bunch of these "rat droppings" in a text file, and I'll post some of these every so often on the right. But there are a few that deserve their own blog post, like the one below.

The subtitle to today's blog is, "Hello Mr. Pot. This is Kettle. You're black!"

Someone posted the following question on Yahoo Answers:

I Think I Hit A Nerve

WARNING! THIS IS A LONG POST!

Wow. For a little while there, I didn't think Alexander was going to visit my blog again. But he did visit - in spades! And he left comments on what appears to be each post.

It seems Alexander is upset that I was criticizing him over taking too long to reply to my posts. I don't remember mentioning anything of the like, merely that I noticed he would post huge long blogs on his site but not respond to comments I made on mine. Even with the comments he left on his latest visit, he didn't reply to any of my questions. Maybe he is going to take the time to address each individual one. Who knows? For the sake of making his "busy" life a little easier, I will be making a new section on the right called Questions That Demand Answers.

Let's be clear on this though, Alexander (before I address your comments) - YOU started this. YOU made public a private email I sent to you the minute you made a post about it. YOU took the time to "tear" my arguments apart, accused me of things, then ignored my follow up emails. Had you responded in kind (i.e. privately) then I would not have resorted to this blog. So don't you dare sit there and make excuses for not replying to my own blog posts because you are busy. Man up and do the right thing.

Spreading the Word of God to ANYONE should be a priority. Just because I don't attend your church doesn't mean I don't deserve the same consideration as people you see face to face at church.

For those who do not have a blog on blogspot, every time someone leaves a comment an email is sent to the person who is writing the blog. You were checking your emails, Alexander, as you have to read the emails sent saying a comment has been posted, Especially considering YOU have to approve the comments that go up. And every few days (a week at the most!) you update comments on your blog, or put a new posting up. So don't LIE about not checking emails. Don't have the time? How about a courtesy email, letting people know you will get back to them when you have a chance? And thank God you weren't online during 20002. Any chance of a repeat performance?

I did not take YOUR busy life personally. What I did take personally was when you called me a liberal Christian, someone who accepts sin because it's too much effort to fight back. Take a look at my Blog, and you'll find there are a LOT of very critical comments. I don't "censor" comments based on if they agree with me, but on if they're nonsense or not. The morons who post 40 lines of "La Bamba" get their posts deleted, you tend to get yours approved.

I have to disagree on your first point, Alexander, You do censor posts. And I never said I was upset my posts weren't showing up within any sort of time frame, nor that you would censor them (especially after I stopped calling myself the GBJN f C). If it takes you that long to go through all of your emails to weed out that garbage, then so be it. Why are you throwing up a smoke screen, acting as though I have been ranting at you for not moving quicker? I have pointed out on many occasions you were quick to post my personal email but were slow to reply to my follow up email.

And I did read the rest of your post without it. You talk about fan fiction being sexual, which some may be, but most isn't. You also complained that Yahoo deleted one of your answers to a question about Harry Potter fan fiction. You obviously did not read my post - I dealt with the books and then went on to other things.

And I saved the best for last, people. This is how Alexander gets away with defending a book written by Richard Cohen, former homosexual, now a hippy dippy New Age freak.

The fact that the man has made mistakes, or has practices of which I do not approve, is beside the point. His book makes several good points and addresses Homosexuality in a way that children can understand. I did not advocate for the man himself, but for his book, which is, on it's own, worthwhile.

Even if it's the ONLY worthwhile thing he's ever done at least the book about Alfie's home life has the potential to redirect some children to the path of righteousness and towards seeking treatment for their mental defects.

Is beside the point? IT IS THE POINT! Alexander, your first statement shows you know nothing of your own religion. Matthew 7 verses 15 to 20 says (I am going to quote the KJV)

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Explain again, Alexander, how Richard's book, (fruit), is all right considering the man (tree) from which it came? If Tim Henson had written this book, would you still support it? You have proven my point, and do not need to reply (I know you're busy anyway): as long as you find something that fits your twisted, unscientific, unproven and grossly exaggerated point of view, you will support it no matter where it came from or who wrote it.

This, my friend, makes you a hypocrite.

Here's the deal, Alexander. If you are going to take the time to post your ridiculous blog entries and make assumptions and accusations about people, then take the responsibility to reply to alternate points of view on the issues YOU raised. You've taken the time to create a blog. Take the time to "educate" people by replying to their sincere queries on why you've said the things you did. You are acting like an internet terrorist, if you will: you post an outrageous blog, then hide from the consequences. Take responsibility for your actions. And don't hide behind excuses, like you're too busy. Your God tells you to go forth and make disciples of all men.

Inasmuch as I want to see you off the net, let me give you some friendly advice of managing your time online, because you obviously aren't going to stop posting crap. You stated on the Distorted View message board that you're only online for a few hours a week. Why not only make 1 blog entry on your page. Wait a week. The following week, reply to all the comments that were made to your blog. The week after, start a new blog. The week after that, post replies to comments. And so on. The way you're going about it is all wrong - you post 3 or 4 different topics, then can't deal with the feedback and so you make up excuses and lies. Managing your time will make you more effective.

Try using your whole ass instead of the half assed job you've done so far.

Today's blog by Cornswalled features a story called Alfie's Home. Alfie was sexually abused as a child and starts to question his own sexuality as he grows up. This book is designed to help change a person's sexual orientation. Alexander recommends you give it to prospective parents at baby showers (what a great gift!)

I'm not all that well versed in the homosexual lifestyle. Some believe homosexual behaviour is learned. Others say it's genetic or an imbalance. Given how some children are born with hearts outside their bodies, or 2 heads and 8 fingers, I would be ignorant, (Cornswalled, if you will) not to believe that some people are born with a chemical imbalance (too much testosterone, etc.) that would make them gender confused. But that's irrelevant to this post right now. I am not about to enter into a debate about whether you're born gay or learned to be gay.

What I am posting about today is how Alexander will quote anything by anyone so long as it agrees with his own beliefs. In this instance, Alexander has chosen a book written by Richard A. Cohen. Richard was once gay but now he is straight. Richard believes that all homosexual activity is a learned behaviour, and that through his therapy you can be cured.

Let's look at Richard's credentials, shall we?

* his books are self-published.
* he was a member in good standing for many years in the Unification Church cult.
* he is a graduate of one of the most liberal colleges in the US - Antioch College.
* he was thrown out of the American Counselling Association for violating their code of ethics.
* he claims he is a Certified Sexual Reorientation Coach. Of course, he is the only one in the world, and the only one who can certify others. Courses are pricey, though...
* he uses many new age techniques including bioenergetics, regression therapy, meditation and affirmations.
* even the most "mainstream" organizations that deal with healing homosexual behaviour will have nothing to do with him.

... and there's more.

I am not here to bash Mr. Cohen. Everything I have documented here is taken from interviews, his own website, etc...

Alexander loves telling people on Yahoo Answers to stop being brats, stop whining, grow up, etc... And yet here he is citing a work from an author who deals with feelings and therapy and has no church affiliation.

But let's get this straight (pardon the pun) shall we? The author of the book Alexander wants us to buy and send to our friends was essentially written by a New Age hippy-dippy freak. Someone Alexander would definitely have issues with in real life. But so long as this guy has written a book Alexander agrees with, he'll overlook the New Age crap.

I'm not really interested in debating about The Smurfs, particularly since I linked to a book that details the Occult references in The Smurfs, including Gargamel's use of a Pentagram to cast spells at the direction of a talking magic book.

"Like Lambs to the Slaughter." has been out of print for a while, largely because it discusses the occult ties found in may cartoons of the the 80's and 90's, most of which are no longer popular. Used copied however are easy to get.

Give the book a read. While my hope is that it will educate you, I suspect it will do more than further enrage you against Christians.

I remain convinced that you will only cite sources that already match your own views. This is what makes you closed minded. And yes, Like Lambs to the Slaughter did piss me off about Christians. Since when did the Bible actively promote checking your brain at the door and not questioning truth being offered?

Like Lambs to the Slaughter is a typical hysteria inducing read about how modern culture and entertainment are loaded with Satanic and anti-Christian messages. While some of what was written about is true, the majority of the book bases itself on innuendo and the author's interpretation of what he has seen. And of course, if the author sees Gargamel casting spells from a pentagram, then everyone else should see it as well. It's along the same lines as Why Knock Rock by Dan and Steve Peters and the Satan Seller by Mike Warnke. Of course, Mike Warnke was shown to be a fraud in his testimony, and Dan and Steve Peters, while right on in proving there was sin in the music industry (everyone knew that anyway - we didn't need the Peters brothers to state the obvious!) they went a little overboard in their determination to censor and burn music.

Mike Warnke is probably the best example in proving how ignorant Christians can be. It took a little investigating by Cornerstone magazine to show he was a charlatan, that he lied about his past, gave dates for events in his past that changed constantly... He managed to pull this off for over 20 years, scored millions of dollars for his Satan hunting type school, was featured on Oprah back in the day, produced more than seven (I think) comedy albums (which, admittedly, are VERY funny!) The fact that Mr. Warnke got away with his lies as long as he did only reinforces that most Christians are like sheep, and Alexander is one of them. Citing a book no longer in print, that gives no photo evidence to justify the charge is hardly going to convince anyone that it is true. At least the Peters brothers showed photos of the Satanic imagery from album sleeves, and quoted magazine referenced interviews on the artists they were featuring.

Anyway, so I posted that little bit on his blog, and then I realized, wait a minute! He only talked about the Smurfs? What about the other questions I asked? What about the Harry Potter accusation he made? What about the questions I asked in my previous posts?

He ignored them, didnt he?

Are you running, Alexander? Come on, have some courage and reply to my specific questions in one big post.

A Nice Comment

Well, I didn't expect it, but someone actually noticed my most recent post and took the time to comment. Thank you very much for the encouraging words. I really only started the blog to vent some frustration - I didn't think anyone would actually visit!

The thing is, I'm all for individuals expressing their point of view, even someone like Alexander. What irritates me is the fact that the religious right in the US is so... smug about cramming their opinions down everyones throats. Smug is the the only word I can think of that most accurately describes their whole demeanor. Kinda like the way your president looks when he answers questions from the press.

I think I finally snapped when I heard the most recent attempts at banning Harry Potter books in the States. I watched a biography on JK Rowling (the author) and she was just dumbstruck at how vicious some of these Christians were being about her book. I personally find it funny that a group who are supposed to try to be pure of heart spend all of their time making up disgusting and evil lies about her intentions on writing the books. She has clearly stated the books are fairy tales. I guess those with no imagination must have to make up for their lack of it by insinuating Harry Potter leads kids to Satanism.

Cornswalled, if you are reading:

You state in one of your laughable posts that these books lead children to Satanism and witchcraft. I would ask you to show documented proof that this is the case. Anyway, I was watching this A&E Bio on Rowling. She was saddened that these religious groups were reading stuff into the books that really wasn't there. What got to me was they showed this church group protesting at a book store, and there was this guy they interviewed who seemed really upset. He'd been 'prayin' and the Lord laid it on his heart' that Harry was evil. The reporter asked this perfect Christian specimen if he'd read the book and he said no. So, excuse me, but what gives you the right to try to ban something you never read? His reason for protesting was likely this:

* Friday night church group was going to protest the book store because their craft night was cancelled
* This guy heard some gossip about the book
* Rather than investigate the book, he assumes the gossip and rumours the old biddies in his church were spreading MUST be true, so we gotta get that book BANNED

I am not a violent person. But when I heard this particular jackass say he'd been 'prayin' about it', I wanted to punch the TV. It was that SMUG LOOK about him. He didn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer, and he was bald (and wearing the customary Sunday suit - does God really care if you worship Him in a suit or jeans? I thought the point was that we worship Him? Ah well... another topic for another post!) so I don't know why he thought he was better than anyone else. I just wanted to hit this guy to try to knock some sense into him.

Alexander (and the guy ((girl?)) who posted the nice comment) I grew up in church. My father started a church in our city to minister to the deaf community. There was no where for the deaf to go as, obviously, they can't hear and the churches were not supportive or understanding of their handicap (no surprise - churches tend to either use a ham fisted approach to things, or sit back and do nothing) Anyway, I went to a regular hearing church while my folks looked after the deaf. I stopped going to church when I returned from a missions trip to Guatemela. I could not stand the hypocrisy I saw in the church. I couldn't stand the back stabbing. I couldn't stand the gossip. And this wasn't one church, Alexander - before I stopped going, I tried SEVERAL churches:

* Baptist
* Free Methodist
* Pentecostal
* Lutheran

They were all the same. Joyless, backstabbing hypocrites.

The only church I truly felt at home in was a Seventh Day Adventist church. And in spite of their zealousness of predicting the end of the world incorrectly a bunch of times, I would have continued to go there had I not moved.

I only bring this up to say that I KNOW your kind because I lived the life. I have three editions of the Bible, from KJV to the latest watered down version. I listened to CCM, praise, Maranatha, Christian metal, rock, gospel, George Beverly Shea... I even helped my dad with the commitee to bring BILLY GRAHAM to our city (and he did - three sold out nights and what a FANTASTIC Christian example he was (no sarcasm). I avoid church to stay in touch with God... not to have the taint of other "believers" on me.

But you, Alexander, and your opinionated, narrow minded, near sighted smug attitude is what's prevalent in the church today. YOU are the epitome of what's wrong with Christianity in the US. You are the reason people won't go to church. You are the reason church attendance is at an all time low. Try as you might to blame the media, Tim Henson, Harry Potter immigration laws, etc... YOU are the reason. Look at it this way - why would someone want to go to a place that demonizes everything (other Christians included), only to watch you "eat" your own?

God, my wrists are sore now.

I know I rambled a lot (again, I'm not always able to get a point across the way I want it to) and I hope I didn't bore anyone.

But hey, Alexander, I asked another question here. Let's see if you can answer this, in addition to the other 6 I asked and still have not seen a reply:

Unlike you, Alexander, I will give you the benefit of the doubt, and go along with your, "Oh Gee Whiz! It slipped my mind." In any event, I would like to point out a few things...

In a Democracy, the dominant group gets to set the rules...

I will not even debate politics with you. I am not an American (again, thank the Lord!) and I don't understand your system of government. However, as far as I remember, GWB only made president by the skin of his teeth. I am not even sure if you require a majority or certain key voting territories in the US. Doesn't matter and PLEASE don't bore me with a post on how American politics works. However - getting in by the skin of one's teeth should mean there are a fairly equal number of people (minus a few percent) who voted for the other guy. How do you reconcile the fact that almost HALF of the UNITED STATES wanted someone else... not once, but twice? Therefore, does majority mean 51% get what they want and the rest be damned? Furthermore, what happens after your president is voted out in 2008 and they elect (shudder..) Hilary Clinton? Will you be satisfied with liberal policy when the majority votes in a democratic party to office in 2008? Because according to you, majority rules...

The second source of conflict between myself and the person behind anticornswalled.blogspot.com is that he gleefully listens to "Distorted View" and defends it. Partaking of deviant programming is not a Christian behavior. We're supposed to hold our minds and bodies separate, and not defile them with unworthy influences and media.

How does your friend feel about this? You know, the one you remain friends with despite the fact that he brought DV to your attention? Isn't he a Christian? If not, I would find it hard to believe someone as pristine and holier than thou would associate with the common proles. Interesting. I suppose my efforts have failed so far. For a little while there I thought perhaps you had gotten the hint about Distorted View, but alas, I see a new post today.

Alexander, I find it interesting that you took the time to reply to my initial conversation on your blog, but I am a little dismayed about the lack of interest in my last email to you a couple of weeks ago. I guess my thoughts and comments must have been too difficult for you to debate. So, in typical conservative fashion, the blind eye is used and the issue swept under the rug. I thought for sure you would have responded, as you insist on taking on tough issues and you do not appear to back down easily. Your "stubborn-ess" was a quality I admired. Pity.

In any event, I have included a copy of the last email. Unlike your world view, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps you didn't receive my email - gmail is notorious for losing mail (and allowing views such as yours to pervade the internet).

I do have one question - you said in a previous post that you would pray for my wayward soul - do you pray for Tim? Do you pray for his salvation, or do you pray that God will smite him?

What you see as a permissive attitude, I call choosing my battles. If I had to make it my mission to speak out against everything I found that "perverts" my religion, I would not be able to hold a full time job to support my family. A good example of battle-choosing is your own blog - you choose to slander Tim and slam homosexuals and Muslims. Surely these are not the only "perversions" in our society, yet these are the three topics you choose to focus on for the most part.

Perhaps I have dedicated my energies to eradicating child abuse? Or working with the homeless? Or counselling drug addicts and alcoholics? You would not know that, yet you choose to assume I am a "Liberal Christian" because I listen to the Distorted View and want to shut your blog down as a result.

I can make assumptions too. I can assume from your blogs that you are:

An older gentlemen (over 60 surely)
A Baptist (and a Calvinist too - they do go hand in hand, don't they?)
You believe sex is for procreation only
You wear a suit on Sunday
You believe anything that has a beat (i.e. rock music) is of the Devil
KJV is the only version that should be used

... and the list could go on ...

You know that old expression, "When you assume you make an ass out of you and me?" In this case, you make an ass of yourself.

Furthermore, what you perceive in me as being permissive could not be further from the truth. Do I believe homosexuality is a sin? Yes, I do. Do I believe homosexuals will get in to the Kingdom of Heaven. No, I do not believe they will. It is a black and white issue. However, because I am not condescending and do not equate homosexuality with pedophilia, that makes me liberal? Here's an example of how your approach will always fail. I truly hope you take this to heart:

A homosexual man comes to the realization he living a sinful lifestyle. He wants to turn to the church for help. He gets online for some information on what he has to do to change his life. He comes across your blog. He reads that he is no better than a pedophile. He decides not to attend church to get the help he wants because of what you and other ultra conservatives believe about him. He dies and heads to hell in sin because you robbed him of his chance for salvation.

Are you telling me, Alexander, that when you die, God will praise your crusade after what you did to this man? If you answer yes, then please don't bother to read further. You simply don't get it and we are at a stalemate.

While you raised a few interesting issues that I would like to debate with you further (but won't because of what I said earlier) I was also disappointed at how you ignored some queries I made, specifically:

Believe it or not, I understand your frustration at seeing what you believe is wrong, Alexander. You are frustrated with Tim Henson because you think he is wrong. I am frustrated with you because I think you are wrong. But calling people "idiots" and "morons" on a blog, and assuming that people are pedophiles because they satirize it (legally) on a show is not the way go.

Finally, one can only assume (there's that word again!) that you have recanted your blog about making a mistake by calling Tim a pedophile. This assumption can be made by your statement of:

Pedophiles and Homosexuals are one in the same. There is no distinction between them. Tim Henson has repeatedly produced audio and video glorifying and dramatizing pedophilia. If Tim Henson were to bring Libel charges against me, I would simply provide the judge with some copies of Henson's Podcast and videos. Only the most hard core activist judges would fail to see my logic when confronted with the actual program.

Hmm? Let's see - you originally called Tim a pedophile, then said (on April 4)

And now it appears you are calling him a pedophile again (by the way - what videos have you watched? I thought you didn't listen to the show?) Anyway, which one is it, Alexander? I have informed Mr. Troll of this blog and welcome any comments he might make. I doubt he has the balls to do so and you know what? I really don't care if he does. All I care about is having a free forum where anyone can post comments either in favour or against a particular blog. As Alexander likes to choose which comments he will allow to show on his blogs, and he continues to ignore mine, I will post my own comments here everytime he writes drivel on his own.

The "War" So Far

For starters, Alexander Cornswalled is a whack job. There is very little else that needs to be said, especially if you have wasted time on his blog. While he is a rather eloquant speaker (which I am not) his arguments only prove his naivety in the world around him. His recent postings about Wikipedia should prove this. He was virulently opposed to Wikipedia, having called it unreliable. And yet when someone added an entry that supported his position on a topic, he jumped in with both feet and proclaimed it as fact. Little did he know the entry was a fabrication which made him appear even more foolish than usual.

My beef with Alexander is more personal. He chose one day (May 24 to be precise) to post an email I sent to him. For further reading, check out:

In this post, Alexander made a few generalized statements about me, and my character was called into question. Why should I care? Honestly, at the time I really didn't. I wrote him off as a typical bigoted right wing baptist Christian. But the more I thought about this smug bastard, sitting behind his computer smirking at me, the more pissed off I got. So I sent him a further email and I asked him some pretty hard hitting questions.

Surpise, surpise. Mr High And Mighty's balls shrank and he ignored my email. So I sent it again. Nothing. Not even a private reply telling me to piss off. So I sent it one last time, with a sort of "I dare you to post this" taunt. Still nothing.

Well, now I am REALLY pissed off. How dare this little troll of a man whitewash something. For someone who believes he is strong in his faith, he has little spine for a fight. Doesn't the Bible teach us to fight as lion? I don't recall it saying to fight only when you know you can win.

So, Alexander, I would like to make public the follow up email that you continue to ignore. Perhaps being exposed will show the internet community just how shallow and pathetic you are.
